General Flow
Inhabit unfolds over two days, moving through a shared rhythm shaped by the four seasons—summer, fall, winter, and spring. Each common session invites a different posture as we attend to place, pain, and possibility together and includes storytelling, teaching, worship, embodied practices, and space for reflection.
Friday, May 1:
-Common Session 1: Plant Your Feet (Summer) — Grounding ourselves in place and presence
-Parish Pilgrimages: Guided journeys into local neighborhoods, where we listen, share a meal, and attend to the stories already unfolding in place.
-Common Session 2: Taste and See (Fall) — Receiving and sharing the gifts of our neighborhoods
Saturday, May 2:
-Common Session 3: Listen to the Groans (Winter) — Attending to pain, lament, and longing
Workshops
-Lunch
-Workshops
-Common Session 4: See! A New Thing (Spring) — Noticing signs of life and joining in new creation
Is this a full two-day commitment?
We strongly encourage attending both days. Inhabit is designed as a shared journey, not a drop-in experience.
Will there be a virtual option?
No, Inhabit is shaped around being together in a particular place, we won’t offer a virtual option this year.

Yes. Details will be provided to attendees closer to the gathering.

who Inhabit is for
Who typically attends Inhabit?
Past participants include pastors, practitioners, neighborhood leaders, artists, educators, and those simply longing to live more rooted lives.
Do I need to be a church leader to attend?
No. Inhabit is for anyone curious about faith, place, and practice, especially those drawn to neighborhood-rooted life.
I’m coming alone. Will that be awkward?
Not at all. Many people come solo. Inhabit is intentionally designed to help people connect naturally.
Faith and Practices
Inhabit draws on Christian practices, prayers, and perspectives, while still welcoming everyone on their own faith journey. You’re invited to come as you are and participate in the intentionally Christian rhythm of the gathering.
Inhabit is for you if:
You’re a little tired of abstract church talk
You care deeply about the neighborhood you’re part of
You’re asking honest questions
You’re looking for companions for the journey
You’re still hopeful about the Church, but could use a reminder you’re not alone
Inhabit might not be for you:
You’re mainly looking for a growth strategy
You’re drawn to big stages and big names
You prefer clear answers over shared practice
You’d rather sit back and observe than participate
Join Us!
Inhabit is held annually and serves as a gathering point for a growing movement of people committed to being the Church in their neighborhoods.
