Parish Collective platform events are designed to equip ministry leaders as they guide parishioners and community members toward integrated parish life and mission. These events represent milestones in the parish process as seasoned PC Consultants collaborate with the hosting party and other local practitioners. We have developed these resources in partnership with leader/practitioners around the world. They have come out of our on-the-ground work in understanding how to catalyze church and community members for integral parish transformation.
Salons
The PC Salon is an introductory event within a particular bioregion which familiarizes neighborhood leaders and practitioners with one another, and with the process of deeper parish integration and collaboration. If you are a ministry leader wishing to encourage rooted collaboration and care within your own neighborhood, as well as linking up with other place-based expressions across your city and bioregion, the PC Salon will be a meaningful platform to begin. Charrette
A charrette (pronounced [shuh-ret]) consists of an intense period of design activity. We have adopted the language of charrette from a number of disciplines (such as land use planning and urban design) in which shareholders join together with specialists in drafting potential design solutions. PC Charrettes are a series of contemplative and participatory design intensives. The charrette is held over a period of two days in partnership with PC Consultants. Together, parishioners will imagine collaborative postures, integral designs, and practical approaches to developing a redemptive place in ways that don’t repeat the colonial mistakes of the past. Sessions
As experts around the globe search to find healing solutions to the affects of fragmentation and isolation, there are a multitude of disciplines making convergent discoveries around the critical nature of place and community. PC Sessions are focused participatory talks around these critical themes from highly regarded PC leaders and partners within various disciplines.
