What Is A Charrette?
A charrette (pronounced [shuh-ret]) consists of an intense period of design activity. We have adopted the language of charrette from a number of disciplines (such as land use planning and urban design) in which shareholders join together with specialists in drafting potential design solutions.
Integrative Charrettes
Our trademark Integrative Charrette is a dynamic design process for churches and faith communities seeking deeper integration and collaboration within the life of a particular neighborhood. TheIntegrative Charrette consists of a series of contemplative and participatory design intensives held over a period of two days in partnership with PC Consultants. Together, parishioners will imagine collaborative postures, integral designs, and practical approaches to developing a redemptive place in ways that don’t repeat the colonial mistakes of the past.
